This week I have been jamming so much Dent May it's a little sad. I first was introduced to his music during KVRX's sxsw show at Spider House and was really impressed. I don't know if it's mainly Dent who makes all the tracks and the other guys are just vessels for his creation or if it's a group initiative (Maybe somewhere in the middle?), but either way, every track they make is quality and I really respect that. He has a unique voice that's so catchy and it really works for him. The album KVRX got, Do Things, is just straight up awesome. I think what hooked me though was his performance at the Mohawk last weekend. He got the crowd dancin' which isn't easy considering he was playing for an Austin crowd. The scene here would hardly move if Michael Jackson was performing Thriller... or something like that.
