This is a very intense and raw album. The band consists of just a drummer, a
guitarist and a singer and because of this the music sounds very bare. Sarcasm,
paranoia, lust and sadness are expressed through the lyrics and vocal performances.
Unfortunately, several of the most notable songs are incredibly obscene so we
can’t play them. The lyrics are cathartic and free-associational and it seems that
all inhibitions have been forcefully kicked out of a disastrous house party. It’s a bit
ironic that Side B is called “party music” because it has most of the really obscene
and very negative songs on the album. I dig this album and I recommend listening to
it at home. “Asshole Boyfriend” is great and extremely vulgar. The album contains a
lyric sheet-use it for your reading pleasure and as a warning. Enjoy!
