24/Seven Day 1

by admin ~ March 17th, 2008. Filed under: Uncategorized.

TSTV, the only student run, student produced, FCC licensed station in the nation, is setting a new world record for the longest broadcast. 168 hours.

U.T. Austin students will be living at the TV station for a week. TSTV will be broadcasting the social experiment live. 24/7. Hence the name: 24/ Seven.

Six different cameras throughout the station will capture the actions of 16 students.

The concept of the show is to see if they can live at the Texas Student Television studios while conducting specific events in a Real World/Big Brother style scenario with the following restrictions:

Students can only leave the studios for class.

Any food must be brought to the students via other students or delivery services. Everyday activities such as bathing, sleeping, and others must take place within the building.

The show will air on Ch. 16 if you have cable. Ch.15 in the dorms. And if none of the above apply to you, you can catch it on Ch. 9.

TSTV welcomes visitors. Especially if they have food and drink to share.

Audiences can interact with the show three ways: via the call in line: 512-471-3190, by aim: TSTV24seven, or the live blog: tstv.wordpress.com
