Clearlake (Hove, England) stopped by KVRX before their 2004 SXSW showcase to offer listeners a bite of the British indie sound. Cool guys. Their smart, shiny Marshall stacks were on rent from a NYC agency, and we all said "oooh!" Hopefully their website will be working by the time you read this. Otherwise, check out their label, Dusty Company. Andrew W. surprised the band by requesting a song over the talkback mic in the middle of their set and they delivered ... that's Track 5 below... how's that for off-the-cuff? |

| I can't get over the sound of that ice-cold synth pad on Track 4. Brrr!!! | |

| OK, moment of truth. I f*ed up on track 4. There is a weird feedback sound that lasts for over half of the song. That was my reverb feeding back through the console because of a mistake I made. Then I freaked out and turned off the reverb, so the end of the song is dry. OOPS! | |
