| Devendra banhart is a god. I know he doesn't like it to have so many fans, but when I'm listening to his music, it's like I'm in heaven. I'm a singer-songwriter too (www.simplebrain.tk) , I've seen Devendra Banhart two times live, and I've learned a lot !! This man is sooo great ! | |

| Fair enough the guy is good, but his gig at the sage was definitely not the highlight of the night, the band were too safe. Micah P Hinson was the total star of the night. Go Texas! Peace to Ron Morris | |

| Discovered Devendra this year when a friend gave me Rejoicing in the hands- was instantly intrigued - but slightly cautious as it reminded me too much of Marc Bolan and early Tyranosaurus Rex. Since though i've seen him live twice- once in Paris - which so amazing i went to see him again in Edinburgh- which was great- because it was a much more cosy venue - and i got right up the front of the stage. The records are great - but the live performances even better! an experience to make you feel moved and joyful! cant wait for the new album- the new songs are much more upbeat and crazy! :))) | |

| Will you kids do a little investgating of some of the older music out there and realize that these shit-tards you think are gods are just regurgitating other artists (this genius thinks he is T-Rex) who successfully achieved their own voices. This guys a "rip off". Stop Taking Your Medicine and stop listening to this crap. please!!!!!!!! | |

| this is lovely lovely music. to the old man above - perhaps this isn't inivative or something completely new which has NEVER BEEN DONE BEFORE, but it's a bloody change from a lot of new music at the moment. it's folky and quirky and not too polished and that is the basis of it's appeal. along with the undeniable fact that he has a pretty awesome voice, which sadly doesn't seem to be a nescessity, or even a preference in music today because it can all be tweaked and polished until everyone can swallow it in small, easy bites. this is fresh and it's beautiful music. who care's if it's 'all been done before'?! i think we just become jaded with all music if you go around listening to music like you're desperately try to catch them out and brand them as a 'rip off'. it's boring. | |

| I saw him in concert last night and was extremely dissappointed. He has no stage presence and had nothing worthwhile to say, although it seemed as though i was of the minority. My friend and i concurred and split 20 minutes into the show. He is utterly dreadful in concert. | |

| Discoverded Devendra last year with the first two albums released here back in France. I whish everyone could have the same vision of the life as him. Concerning his talent, no need to argue, I think is a real genius. I saw him two days ago in a french festival and the show was absolutely brilliant as for the quality of his performance as for his attitude really simple. Keep going Devendra, keep on makig our world better. | |

| if ya'll like this maybe some would aprecieate the album Niandra La Des, by John Frusciante, this was recorded in the depths of a heroin binge and although some may find it difficult to listen to, those with a real thirst for something other than emo-fag-s***- and whatever else it being played on the radio these days, will really find something in their i believe. its refreshing to hear this music when your in a band playing straight up rock, www.purevolume.com/lofijack - my band, youl see what i mean... | |
