| To "Laurie" who commented previously: their song "With Tired Eyes, Tired Minds, Tired Souls We Slept" is the last track of their 2001 release, "Those Who Tell The Truth Shall Live, Those Who Tell The Truth Shall Die"... "Yasmin The Light" is also on that cd, looking at a track listing of it, it is the 2nd track. As for "Once More To The Afterlife", if that is in fact what you were referring to, it was not on "those who tell the truth...", "how strange, innocence", or their last release "the earth is not a cold dead place". So, I'm really not sure what to tell you about that. The exciting recent news though, if you are unaware is that they just primarily scored a movie, so there will be a soundtrack soon that is perhaps the next best thing to a new album (it's mostly their stuff and apparently a lot of it is new). |
| Laurie :: London :: fake@freenet.co.uk :: 17 Oct 2004 @ 11:39:32 |
| ''Brian'' yeah thanks, the beginning of 'once more to the afterlife' is from the song 'The long spring' i think its the real version but the long spring is better. ive got all their songs now! even 'how strange, innocence' it took me a long time but i downloaded all of it. Laters |

| ive listened to e.i.t.s for a long time now. i was completey astonished by the structure of the songs, and... no words. they pull it off perfectly.
i heard "the earth is not a cold dead place" first befor hearing there other cds, so i was not too amazed by there other work. "those who tell the truth shall die" was alright, but i did not care much for "how strange, innocence" its just not as good of recording and the songs arn't as up-lifting as the songs on there other two cds
"the earth is not a cold dead place" is BY FAR my favorite cd, not just because it has my favorite song "first breath after coma", but they connect the hole cd as if it was one song up intill the last song. so its like coma goes on for 40 min.
if you have not checked out most of explosions works, do yourself a favor. ive also seen another work, im not quite sure if its out yet... its called "friday night lights original motion picture" or something like that. it's quite good.
well. drop it like its hot, bitches. im out like 2-pac. |
