| There has been a band called the Bel Airs touring and recording since your mamas were wiping your noses, so your band name isn't all that original. |

| big daddy- i heard there was a town called belaire out in some strange state called california. word is that there was a tv dedicated to it featuring dj jazzy jeff and some other guy. So- this band is still one of the better things austin music has going for it no reason to be down on the name. |

| whoa!? someone already combined the letters b, e, l, a, i, and r???????? CRAZY! who knew english worked like that! that reminds me of this crazy mystical creature called a "beetle" that once gave some nowhere pop band a name. talk about original!
ps, big daddy, please think twice before saying something very very dumb. you'll look less stupid that way! |

| Hey Big Mamma, I ain't no dummy, I dug his rap. It would be a little different if there was a BAND already called the Beetles and then the Beatles chose their name. All he said was that the name wasn't very original, which is no reason for you to act so rudely towards him or call names. Lots of bands had names that have been straight up used before (Nirvana, Dinosaur, Jr., etc.), and there's even now another Austin band with the same name as another cool act (Chrome). When people I knew started talking about Belaire and how good they were, I thought they were talking about the Bel Airs, so it shows you that there is something to what the guy said. There's no need to be a jerk on here. |
