162 games down, one to go

Submitted by Anonymous on October 1, 2007 - 6:43pm

So it's the third inning of the San Diego and Colorado game, and it's come down to one game. Each team plays 162 games, and it comes down to one game. Jake Peavy has been the best starter in baseball this year, and he struggled early, but Josh Fogg is not anything resembling a competent pitcher, and SD just came back and scored 5 runs, 4 coming off the bat of Adrian Gonzales.

Both pitchers have thrown a good number of pitches so far, so the bullpens will determine the game. EDGE: San Diego

on a lighter note, the Rockies have some of the weirdest names in baseball: Tulowitzki, Spilborghs, Torreabla, Iannetta, Koshansky, and Quintanilla.
