For the first time ever, the pre-televised Grammy Awards can be viewed online today at http://www.grammy.com/GRAMMY_Awards/50th_show/event.aspx
In addition to the well-known pop, country, and rock categories, nominees in areas such as blues, folk, polka, and spoken word are honored during the ceremony but never televised. That all changes this year.
From 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM (Central Time) today (Feb. 10) you can watch the pre-televised ceremony. The blues awards will take place about midway through the pre-tel online broadcast, and will feature a live performance from Austin's own blues legend Pinetop Perkins. Pinetop will be joined by fellow legends David "Honeyboy" Edwards (who appears at the Cactus Cafe on Wednesday Feb. 13) and Chicago vocalist Koko Taylor.
