For those of you searching for the next Hendrix, the search is over! His name is Carson Brock, 14 years old, and he is the prodigal son of guitar. He comes from a strong musical background. His father, Kyle Brock, played bass for Austin guitar legend Eric Johnson in their 1970's jazz fusion band, the Electromagnets, and on his platinum album, Ah Via Musicom (featuring Cliffs of Dover). Likewise, Carson's sound and style are very reminiscent of Eric Johnson. His other influences include Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, and Jeff Beck.
His band, the Carson Brock Group, has already won numerous contests. He is the next Hendrix, and if you don't take my word for it, check these out:
