So the Champion's League Final is going to be an all-English affair. Barcelona, even with all of their obnoxious talent, couldn't score a single goal! £16 million for an over-the-hill has-been to come off the bench in the 80th minute? I hear Seattle in the MLS is whispering Thierry Henry's name. On the flip side, this Bojan Krkic kid is a special one to keep an eye on. He's only 17 and already getting starts for one of the top clubs in Europe. He, along with Mexican phenom Giovani dos Santos (18 years old), and Lionel Messi (the elder of the group at 20) are going to be very exciting to watch as they develop together over the next few years - especially after they dump Henry and let go of Ronaldinho who wants out (Manchester City? yeah right Mancs).
In the other semifinal, I hoped to see Liverpool knock off Chelsea. Game 2 of that series definitely made up for the snoozer that was the opener. Yet, despite heroics from Horseface the Kid, the Scousers could not make up for John Arne Riise's late blunder at the end of game 1.
How will the plastic hold up at Luzhniki? Is a plastic pitch really that bad? People make it seem like you're at risk of blowing your kneecap out just walking on it.
And is Moscow ready for an onslaught of loud drunken English fans?

The English media made a fuss about the pitch when England played Russia there, but there weren't too many problems. It's synthetic grass, a far cry from the genuinely hard plastic pitches some clubs had in the 80's.
I don't think Henry's over the hill just yet, quite often good players take a while to adjust to a new league in a new country.
Henry
yeah I agree. that comment about Henry was a bit exaggerated on my part. It'll be interesting to see where he ends up though. I really don't think he's gonna stay much longer at Barca. Back to the Premiership is unlikely, and he has stated he definitely wants to play MLS at some point in the future. But yeah, he's still a quality player even though he hasn't shown it yet in Barcelona.
