"This new audio-visual collaboration from musician Sean O'Hagan and artist Jean Pierre Muller, with Dominic Murcott, uses cutting edge technology softened by human, organic forms, combined with musical values of composition and arrangement.
The Musical Wheel is a trio of freestanding circular paintings which follow the evolving wheel to Detroit, the spiritual home of the motor industry and the everlasting home of Motown.
The painting is alive with a specially commissioned musical composition, emanating from within its structure in multi-track form inviting the viewrs to remix the work as they choose."

I'd love to hear/see this. The collaboration OST for La Vie D'Artiste between Sean O'Hagan and Tim Gane of Stereolab that released earlier this year (was it this year?) really reminded me of Penguin Cafe Orchestra. I'd call it one of the most rewarding and pleasurable albums of the last few years, actually, but I could make that claim for any High Llamas release.
