Legendary Mississippi-born blues pianist Joe Willie "Pinetop" Perkins is less than a week shy of celebrating his 95th birthday. DJ Smokehouse Brown invites you to join him this Wednesday on Blues At Sunrise from 7-9 AM for a big ol' birthday bash for Pinetop, who now calls Austin home. Smokehouse will be spinning choice tracks from Pinetop's long career in the blues, including cuts from his new release "Pinetop & Friends," just out on Telarc Records.
