Legendary Austin funk band Steam Heat will be live in the studio tonight at 10pm on the Soul Revue! We'll listen to their recently reissued 1975 holy grail rarity "Austin Funk" and rare live recordings from the Armadillo. The band reunites at Threadgill's South this Thursday with 1970s Fable record labelmates Starcrost, 47 X It's Own Weight and Beto & the Fairlaines.

Steam Heat is one of Austin's first integrated bands and managed to find a niche swimming upstream against the so-called progressive country music that ruled Austin at the time. School may be out for summer but history class begins tonight at 10pm!
Great show
I listened to quite a bit of it, and it was very entertaining. Hats off.
