Rey Aguilar of Retrovox for Sounds! Fun!, Tonight @ Black & Tan [02/10/09]

Submitted by counterlogic on February 10, 2009 - 8:43pm
Rey Aguilar of Retrovox headlines his own set after Richard.Gear at Black & Tan tonight! (02/10/09) Rey Aguilar is a personal friend of Solid State co-host Andres Aguirre and a solid upcoming producer as well as a fantastic DJ with a residency down in his current hometown of McAllen, Texas. Rey is one half of the production/DJ duo Retrovox, based right here in Texas, in the state's deepest region! Rey has spun most recently (AFAIK) in Austin with Andres Aguirre at Terrace 69 (above/part of the Speakeasy lounge off Congress) and guarantees a solid night of dancing and audacious good times with DJ sets that bridge gaps and stand out among a scene mixed with junk and jewels all the same. I've linked two original Retrovox productions for now as well as Rey's most recent personal mixed set he has released below for your personal listening and body-moving enjoyment. [[FLYER RELOCATED TO THE TOP FOR THIS RE-POST.]] ...TO BE CONTINUED... Rey Aguilar... 1/2 of Texas production & DJ duo Retrovox !
