Imagine, if you will, not Dragons, but a version of Chromeo not as trust-fund ADHD-bros, but as calm and introverted, and I think you have a good idea of what Silicon sounds like. There’s something to be said about a band named “Silicon” with an album titled “Personal Computer” and the inclusion of a “Fitter. Happier.” robot introduction to the album, and possibly how the album is possibly a treatise on how we interact with technology and the past. But mostly it’s tite r & b jams with killer titles. “God Emoji” is smoother than Leon Phelps, and “I Can See Paradise” is as sleazy as it is awesome.
