Today on Austin Hellenic Radio's Dialogos interview series, we are featuring an interview with Greek journalist Ferry Batzoglou, who is a correspondent for Greece for several major German, Austrian, and Swiss media outlets.  Ferry will discuss the manner in which much of the German media has covered the Greek economic crisis and portrayed the Greek people, with a focus on the steretotyping and negative publicity that has been seen in the German press and mass media about Greece.

Today, Austin Hellenic Radio featured two interviews: with George Miadis of the Fort Worth-based band Sonar Lights, and with Greek-American poet and activist Stavroula Harissis from Chicago.  George Miadis spoke about Sonar Lights, the band's newly-released album, recent tour, future tour possibilities, and much more, while Stavroula Harissis recited one of her poems, "Revolution in Progress," and discussed her involvement in the Occupy Wall Street movement, as well as the events she has attended that have been held in solidarity with the Greek people.
