Tonight on Lip Service we spoke with Zoja and Becca of Iggi's Texatarian, a new trailer that will be opening on July 31st on East Cesar Chavez st. Iggi's Texatarian will feature a number of family recipes converted into vegan-friendly fun loving goodness (such as mac-n-cheeze, chili dogz and more!) We spoke tonight about The Sexual Politics of Meat by Carol Adams, which has just been re-released in hardback for its 20th anniversary.

This week on Lip Service we spoke with Shane Whalley, Education Coordinator for the Gender and Sexuality Center right here at the University of Texas at Austin. We learned about some of the great programs offered here, such as the mentor program, the lending library, and Lavender Graduation. This week on Lip Service we spoke with local artist and Monsterlove Mastermind Sara Hasslinger. She organizes workshops to make Monster Heads and release the inner creativity of everyone who participates! Sara works with art as therapy. Fashion Show 21st of August (last day of Austin Fashion Week) Sara is working with Providence in Kenya to do monsterlove photoshoots with orphans.
