Tomorrow, we are having Kymberlie Quong Charles on our show to speak about raising a gender neutral child in a gendered world. What if you don't want your baby to fit into a blue or pink world? What happens when you want hir to decide for hirself? How does one do this, when our society is so focused on categorizing its children?

The Kingston-based roots rock outfit, Rootz Underground, will be performing Friday night (3/14) at the recently opened Nomad Bar on Corona Dr. off of Cameron Rd. (behind the Conoco station).

Shameless plug: tonite at 7PM, my show 25 Lighters gets a kick in the pants as it is now two hours long ('stead of one). That means you should check it out. Mainly old junk, punk junk, vinyl junk, drag city junk, dischord junk, montreal junk. The occasional wolf eyes. Y'know. So today at 9am I hosted my first show called "Eclectic Relaxation"(BTW, I thought this name was genius but I haven't gotten a tremendously positive response). It went great and I had a lot of fun. At first I was like a deer in headlights but I got it together and fought through my nervousness. Now that I have one show under my belt I can confidently recommend getting involved with the station in any way. Listen next week and let me know how I do. Please. Pretty please. Ok, I'll pay you.
