One of my favorite bands is Ampere from Amherst MA. They have released everything from 5" records to 12". They are a very unique band and have decided to release records that are unique themselves with an array of different colors and sizes. 5" Split with Welcome the Plague Year

Pygmy Lush a band out of Sterling Virginia is playing live Thursday at Trailer Space Records Located next to East Side Pies at 1401-A Rosewood Avenue. The Show will start at 8pm and it should prove to be a great show. Pygmy Lush has ex members of Pg99 and plays two styles of music Pg99 style melodic hardcore and dark folk music.

Insect Warfare from Houston Texas is officially calling it quits. There last show is scheduled for Dude Fest in Indianapolis on June 21st. For those of you that didn't know Insect Warfare played live at KVRX on May 21st 2006.

These dudes got back together. Original members. And this song is widely known as the one Nirvana ripped off. Steve Albini really liked this band as a nascent youth growing up in Montana.

I just wanted to let you know about an awesome show coming up. On Wednesday night, Maneja Beto and Betaplayer will be at Mohawk. Maneja Beto is a fantastic, local, Latin band. They always deliver, and they always make me want to dance. Betaplayer is another great, local band, but they have a deep rap flavor. The lead singer works his butt off when he is on stage, and he and the rest of the band are super hip. If you are looking for something to do Wednesday night, you should check them out. Then, you can report back to me, because I can't go, and I am sad about it!
