Tonight, I’ll be interviewing the BARON AVERY from the kingdom of ANSTEORRA - consisting of present day Oklahoma and most of Texas - of the SOCIETY FOR CREATIVE ANACHRONISM.

These guys get together every Tuesday evening at 730PM here (anyone can come and fight for free at Patterson Park & Pool!).

Here's a current outline of potential bowl pairings with Big 12 teams. Obviously, where Texas goes is the main focus in this blog.

Big 12 teams eligible: Kansas (11-1), Missouri (11-1), Oklahoma (10-2), Texas (9-3), Texas Tech (8-4), Texas A&M (7-5), Oklahoma State (6-6), Colorado (6-6). Kansas St, Nebraska, Iowa State and Baylor are ineligible. All teams are guaranteed bowl bids.

How Texas can get into the Big 12 title game.

I know a lot of Texas fans are now in the hopeful boat, with a chance to backdoor their way into the Big 12 title game. There are multiple scenarios, however, that can get Texas into the title game, and they don’t necessarily have to beat A&M to do it (though, they probably wouldn’t feel worthy of going if they ended up doing that).

Scenario 1: Texas beats Texas A&M and Oklahoma State beats Oklahoma. Texas wins the Big 12 South outright, and goes to the title game, no controversy needed.
