Austin's own soul shouter Black Joe Lewis is headlining at the Hole in the Wall, TONIGHT. His 2006 self-titled release on the Weary label charted at #3 here this week, after his 2007 EP had a nice long run on the Topless 39 charts.

This Wednesday 01/30 on Blues At Sunrise from 7-9 AM, DJ Smokehouse Brown will be giving away a pair of tickets to see Black Joe Lewis & The Honey Bears perform on Thursday 01/31 at the Continental Club.

Also, local blues and rock artist Adam Raven will be performing a live set in the KVRX studios that features songs off his new solo release "Goodbye California." We'll be giving out tickets for his CD release party, which goes down at Stubb's on 01/31.

This Wednesday from 7-9 AM on Blues At Sunrise, local Austin-based funk-blues-soul outfit Black Joe Lewis & The Honey Bears will be performing LIVE!
