In case you have been living under a rock for the past month or so and didn’t know… Fun Fun Fun Fest is next week!

Don’t have tickets? Well, time is running out. Don’t have cash? KVRX has your solution! KVRX and Fun Fun Fun are teaming up to bring you an opportunity to win a two-day pass to the festival.

Option 1: Make an original music video featuring an artist playing at this year’s Fun Fun Fun Festival. Videos can be as crazy or as tame as you want, but you will be judged on creativity! So show us what you got. The KVRX staff will vote on the best video and the winner will receive a Fun Fun Fun Fest two-day pass. You are encouraged to collaborate with others to make the best video possible, but remember only one pass will be awarded.

There are supposed to be 5,000 bands here in ATX.

Here I want to focus attention on a sub-set of Austin musicians who are in one way or another trying to push the boundaries of musical idioms, cross-fertilize genres, and create new forms of music. This is the beginning of such a list. Please let me know of more!
