Michael Dyson of The Blue Shoe Project on Blues At Sunrise

This Wednesday Feb. 12 from 8-9 AM on Blues At Sunrise, DJ Smokehouse Brown will be interviewing Michael Dyson. Dyson is a co-founder of The Blue Shoe Project, a Texas-based non-profit organization dedicated to educating students about the blues and the role Texas played in the evolution of blues. In 2007 they released the album "Last of the Great Mississippi Delta Bluesmen: Live in Dallas" featuring Robert Lockwood Jr., Henry Townsend, Pinetop Perkins, and David "Honeyboy" Edwards. The record recently won a Grammy for best blues album.
