May I Use that Cliche for this Match-Up?

Submitted by AndrewSforDallas on Fri, 03/28/2008 - 09:16.

Something has got to give in this enticing sweet 16 match-up. On Friday Night, Texas and Stanford will tip off and show off two contrasting styles. Stanford has pro ready big men in Brooke and Robyn Lopez. Those two were pivotal in their overtime victory over Marquette in the second round. Texas has guards all over the place that are sharp shooters and are able to penetrate, the two J's, AJ Abrams and DJ Augustin.

Thoughts on Thursday's March Madness

To start out, my bracket is alive and well. I didn't have such a good first weekend, but I am now third place in my pool. Thank you Louisville and Xavier...you guys were the leaders of my 4-0 Thursday. I want to talk about how I got to 4-0 and the games that occurred on this eventful night.

The quest to down Joe Lunardi: Pickin' the bracket... the long way. (Sunday AM edition)

So, having heard all the guys at ESPN talk about the greatness of Joe Lunardi, I wanted to see, putting up 10 days of hard work into it (starting last Friday, March 7), to see if I could be close, or even better. So what I'm going to do is list the 65 teams in an outline for a basic list, then go in ridiculous detail underneath in matchup form to explain why. Hopefully, it'll be informative, if not put people to sleep. I also will try to update each day, though the info for the teams won't change much day-to-day unless moved or played.
