I'm pretty glad the Cowboys drafted Mike Jenkins at the Cornerback position. With the pro-bowler Terrance Newman, Anthony Henry, a solid, though at times injury prone defensive back, with the addition of Pacman Jones, and the newly drafted Mike Jenkins, I like how this Cowboys team is building around the secondary. My philosophy is that you can never have enough corners, especially in this day in age when slot receivers are beginning to become just as practical as the regular wideouts. Few teams have 2 solid cornerbacks, with the new additions the cowboys have 4.

Texas vs. Stanford
Houston, Tx.

When Texas takes on the Stanford Cardinal this Friday at Reliant Stadium in Houston, they will no doubt have to be on their A-game if they want to advance to the round of 8. Stanford's forte is their inside game, anchored by their two twin 7-footers, Brook and Robin Lopez.

NCAA Tournament, Day 3 and 4

Days 3 and 4 were not as hectic as 1 and 2, but nearly as alcoholic. I woke up, again, inebriated. So this is it. A trip to the sweet 16 on the line. Duke v West Virginia will be the crowning moment of the day. I’m rooting all the way, as is most of America, against Duke. Not so much FOR West Virginia, but AGAINST Duke.

NCAA Tournament Day 2 Blog

Day 2 cannot be nearly as rowdy as day 1, but I’ll give it a go. Wake up is waaay too early. About 1130, right when the games begin. Instead of a nice hearty breakfast or thirst quenching bottle of water, I grab a beer, anticipating the pilgrimage of my cohorts to the apartment as the day progresses.

NCAA Tournament Day 1 Blog

I spent most of the 4 day weekend in a constant state of inebriation and exaltation while submersed in the most basketball-concentrated weekend of the year. I started Thursday off having still been a tad intoxicated from Wednesday night’s events and promptly grabbed a beer upon returning from class at 11 am.
