How long have you been a member of KVRX?
Since spring of 2019. This is my 7th semester in KVRX.

What's your favorite KVRX memory?
In August of 2019, then KVRX librarian Evan Sherer hosted a deep listening of two 2019 albums: Titanic Rising by Weyes Blood and 1000 Gecs by 100 Gecs. Experiencing that music with all of my friends in the same room was a magical experience I will treasure forever!

Best advice for a new DJ?
Don’t underestimate the value of making your shows sound professional. Having a good on-air personality, cross-fading between songs, and minimizing dead air makes listeners want to tune into KVRX! Don’t be afraid to listen to other radio stations (e.g. KAZI in Austin, NPR) and emulate other professional DJs that you like.

What degree(s) are you graduating with?
Environmental Science / Geography.

What's your current show? (be elaborate & include time and day)
Analog Cauldron, Mondays at 9PM.

Tell us about your final playlist!
Putting thought and effort into the order, flow, and overall arc of every show is something I really enjoy doing. For my final show, I’m planning on doing just that - rather than just play all of my favorite songs from high school for 4 hours. I’ll make a bomb 2-3 hour radio show that just so happens to use popular songs that I’ve never played on air before.
