What's your position and how long have you been on staff?
Music Director for 1 semester.

What is your typical day like as a staff member?
A typical day begins with me checking the music department email, seeing whether the music department has been sent any albums worth adding to the New Bin. On Fridays, there's Rotation at the station, and there the other music directors and I open the mail and add new and old albums to automation.

FAVORITE ALBUM!
My favorite album is probably "The White Album" by the Beatles. It's the Beatles album that I have listened to the most and is so sprawling stylistically that it never ceases to be interesting. It's an album I grew up listening to, and, as my music taste has shifted over the years, "The White Album" is one that I will never stop listening to.

What do you do outside of KVRX?
Outside of KVRX (and school work), I watch movies and read books. Two of the movies I've loved this past year and the year before have been "C'mon, C'mon" and "The Worst Person in the World". One book I read this year that I really enjoyed was "Crying in H-Mart" by Michelle Zauner.

What's your favorite KVRX event?
My favorite KVRX event are the weekly Deep Listenings. It's great to get together with other like minded people who you know appreciate music as much as you do.

Which musician/band would you LOVE to meet?
One band I would love to meet would be My Bloody Valentine. Their album "Loveless" had a big influence on my musical taste and first made me see music as a true art form.

And finally... give us your best piece of advice.
One piece of advice, I have, is to be open and explore new ideas and experiences.
