What's your position and how long have you been on staff?

Live Audio Director for 2 semesters.

What is your typical day like as a staff member?

I come to the station every chance I get, and I bring my nail polish and open up a nail salon in the library. Local Live on Sundays I'm there all day and night!

What do you do outside of KVRX?

Outside of KVRX, I'm usually working audio for the cactus cafe, or trying to survive my CS classes ahahhahahahahhahahahah booooo CS.

What is the name of your show? What is your show about?

THE CRINGE @5pm on Sundays I cohost with DJ Deep Space! and we play music that makes you reminisce about the past, and we embrace all the cringey things we used to be interested in when we were younger.

If you could only play one album on your show what album would it be? Why?

I would play Hesitant Alien from Gerard Way. I could listen to every song from that album on a loop and not get tired of it :o

Favorite concert?

A SXSW day party at Waterloo Records in 2017. I saw Hippo Campus live for the first time after I had been following them for a while, and I also got to talk to them after the show. It was so memorable, and it's partly why I'm so interested in live audio.

If you could have your favorite artist sing you Happy Birthday who would it be and why?

Honestly, I feel like that would be really awkward so I would never want that, BUT if I had to choose it would be Alex Turner because I love that man.

If you could only listen to one song on repeat for the rest of your life, what song would it be?

This question makes me so anxious because I hate to over-listen to a song, (but I do it all the time) I guess it would be "Sex Tourists" by the French Kicks, I used to actually listen to that song on repeat endlessly and I'll do it again if I have to :D.

What's your favorite KVRX memory?

My favorite KVRX memory was the SXSW day party we put on at HITW, called "Fire in the Hole". It was on my birthday, and all my friends were there and all the bands wished me a happy birthday it was so nice.

Lastly...what advice would you give to the new DJs?

Don't be afraid to mess up. College radio is an awesome opportunity to find yourself and your voice.
