It is June 25th and as a previous Doja Cat Stan Account Holder, I, DJ Hierba Malita, filled my duty as a fan and a DJ, listened to her new album Planet Her. I absolutely loved it to the CORE. I needed to share my excitement with someone, so I asked DJ Mundo to do an album review with me after the Deluxe was released. He accepted to join the mission.
So, we set up a zoom meeting and, I made a table with the song number, title, features, and our personal reviews as we listened to the album in sync with no stops (not counting the times the internet connection interrupted our zoom call, lol).
What you will now see is first-time reactions to
Doja Cat’s amazing Deluxe album, Planet Her.

After sharing laughs and semi-dancing through the video call, the album finally came to an end. We were smiling big for a whole hour straight. Thank you, DJ Mundo! I appreciate you taking the time, joining me in celebrating this album. I always think it is really fun to listen to new albums with friends and dissect why we like each song. It was awesome, the music was awesome, Doja Cat is awesome. It was a beautiful experience, so thank you Doja Cat for creating it, and to everyone involved who helped her vision come to life. I will close this review with our final commentary upon the album’s end:
Mundo
WENT HARD ALL THE WAY, REALLY LIKED THE SECOND HALF. DOJA CAT DELIVERED ALL THE WAY!!!
Luya
I like that she explored the different genres this time, it is different from her Hot Pink album. I think in a way she really wanted to do something different, grand. You can tell that she was really trying to display her versatility. She did such a great job exploring these genres while still keeping her sound. You can tell she loves making music, the creativity and the vision is just too loud for someone to deny her talent.
Doja Cat created a beautiful story with a spectrum of emotions and I 100% FELT them.
She created her own world, Planet Her!!
Thank you for inviting us in!
